Novosti is a Croatian weekly magazine and a portal based in Zagreb.

It is published by the Serbian National Council (SNV), the body concerned with promotion of human rights of Serbs in Croatia.

The magazine, billed as an “independent Serbian weekly”, describes its editorial policy as being primarily concerned with covering general news and publishing critical writing about all the relevant political, social and cultural developments in Croatia and the region. It also has a strong emphasis on civil society.

The Center for Media, Data and Society (CMDS)

The CMDS is a part of Central European University (CEU), and seeks to improve the quality of media policymaking through research and debate.

Research is the organisation’s core activity; the CMDS conducts research about the impact of media and information policy on society and practice. It coordinates course offerings at CEU, provides training and organises exchanges through workshops, lectures and conferences on current developments in the field.

The Media Association of South East Europe (MASEE)

The Media Association of South East Europe is a regional association of media from south-eastern Europe established to enhance mutual cooperation and support, the joint training of employees and the exchange of content, and to enable a coordinated approach towards state and international bodies and organisations, with the goal of improving the quality of journalism and improving conditions and the position of media in the market.

The founders of the association are:  Oslobodjenje (Sarajevo), Adria Media Group (Belgrade), Koha (Pristina), Sloboden pečat (Skopje), Koha (Skopje) and Vijesti (Podgorica).

Independent Union of Journalists and Media Workers (SSNM)

Established in 2010 in Macedonia as a union which assembles all workers employed in the various fields of media in Macedonia, SSNM is a union which defends workers’ rights and freedom of the press.

It offers legal assistance and establishes regional cooperation with other union associations that participate in locating socio-economic alternatives to the dominant neoliberal narrative.

The Commission for International Justice and Accountability (CIJA)

The Commission for International Justice and Accountability (CIJA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation dedicated to conducting criminal investigations during armed conflict and analysing evidence of genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity.

Commission is apolitical and carries out its investigative activities independently from any government.  Through its work CIJA provides support for local capacity building, war crimes and counterterrorism investigations, and countering violent extremism (CVE) programmes.

Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro

DONOR
The Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro is responsible for analysing and reporting on political, economic and trade developments, promoting reform progress, implementing and managing an EU financial assistance portfolio and improving the visibility and communication of the EU in Montenegro.

The Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro started working in November 2007.

The Delegation in Montenegro supports the project by BIRN Hub and CIN Montenegro entitled Media Investigations: Stop to READ (Regional Environmental Acts of Devastation).

In 2017-2018 it backed the project Investigate for ME and EU.
