The BIRN office in Albania is part of BIRN Hub. It is run by BIRN’s Albania Editor Besar Likmeta, who is supported by a network of contributors that have been trained by the organization over the past five years.
This core group of journalists contribute reports for various BIRN publications, such as Balkan Insight, and participate in projects including the Balkan Fellowship for Journalistic Excellence and Culture Watch.
