| Beynur Suleyman is a reporter at the weekly printed and online
newspaper Zaman, which is published weekly in Turkish and Bulgarian. He
wrote a text about the three main workshop presentations in the May
14-20 issue of Zaman in Turkish.

Ekaterina Terzieva is the Plovdiv correspondent for the daily
national newspaper Sega and a regular Balkan Insight contributor. In
the feature article she produced at the end of the project, Rosa, Rubie and Ruska: New Homes Don’t Bring New Lives, Ekaterina focused on three of the participants in a failed social engineering experiment on the Roma community.

Georgi Kulov is a journalist at the Kardjali-based daily
newspaper Nov Zhivot. He wrote an article about the workshop
discussions for his newspaper. For Balkan Insight, he produced a
feature story, Suleyman, who used to be Yulian, and his grandson Michael, about the pressures on Bulgaria’s Muslim community to change their names from Muslim to Christian ones and vice-versa.

Iskra Sotirova is a correspondent for the national daily
newspaper 24 chassa in Varna and a Balkan Insight contributor. She
wrote a text about the workshop in the Varna edition of her newspaper.

Krasimir Krumov is the correspondent of the national daily
newspaper Monitor in Shumen. He posted some reflections on the workshop
in his blog. For Balkan Insight, he wrote Exilia: The Blogging Teenager Who Dispeled Myths about Bulgaria’s Turks, a feature article about a small-town ethnic Turskish girl who used the web to bridge her life between two cultures.

Zina Tenekedjieva is an activist and a correspondent of the Roma fortnightly edition Drom Dromendar and the Roma Information Agency.

Ekaterina Petrova is BIRN Bulgaria’s project coordinator and a
Balkan Insight contributor and Sofia news correspondent. For this
project, she wrote Nasredin Rabi Abdu: Being Black in Bulgaria, a feature story about the life of an African refugee and his struggle with racism.
