17 06 2010 Life in Kosovo discussed the implementation of Kosovo’s constitution in its second year since ratification.
Prior to the debate, BIRN broadcast two reportsby Edona Musa 210 teachers in Kosovo who have been left out of payment lists for over ten months, even though almost all of them work full time.
Zeqir Kryeziu, a professor in Klina, sa: “we are only asking to paid for our work”.
According to Ramiz Rusta, head of education in Klina, “this problem will be solved as soon as the Ministry of Education approves these payments”
Nehat Mustafa from blame the Municipality of Klinathat “the has a limited number of professors that it can hire and it is the responsibility to pay them”
“Municipal Courtonly first three months , it is hard to and all of them time. However, we have this case, regardless of the poor condition this court, have properly treated this case.”
Kosovo’s 11th anniversary of liberty? How much has the constitution been implemented since its ratification? How are EULEX’s investigations against corruption assessed? Will corruption be fought and are there any serious attempts to fight it?

When asked if this is the Kosovo that , Ilir Deda : “I probably belong to the majority of people who did not imagine that Kosovo would look this way today. We should not look at the situation from the of the year 1999; Kosovo today is destroyed and there is no clear idea or plan for the future.”
According to Petrit Selimi, “there are diverse opinions about Kosovo’s condition after 11 years of liberty.
For instance, someone who became rich after the war wouldn’t answer the same way as someone who was poor before the war and remained that way.”
“We are far away from we have waited. Still, it always depend what we compare. Normally, if we compare situation with 1999 much better, but looking from the perspective of our goals and dreams, we are not even close to what we wantedValon Murati.
When asked about EULEX’s investigations corruption, Ramush Tahiri “EULEX is a modified UNMIK.
There are no results from its investigation in the fight against corruption.” “Unfortunately, our government not made serious attempts to build a social consensus that will help the development of our country”
According to Valon Murati, “our society should pressure on different local and international mechanisms to make investigations and fight corruption.”
