20 10 2006 The new episode of the BIRN-organised "Life in Kosovo" TV debate show
was broadcasted on Kosovo's public television, RTK, on Friday, October
20, at 20:20 hours CET. This episode examined key developments in
Kosovo's final status negotiating process.
The debate looked at whether the final status process will end this
year, what form it will take; and whether the negotiating teams have
been transparent about decisions, amongst other issues.
The discussion panel consisted of Fatmir Limaj, vice-president of the
Democratic Party of Kosovo, PDK; Rouari O'Connel, first secretary of
the British Office in Kosovo; Adriatik Kelmendi, editor-in-chief of
Kohavision TV channel; and Berat Buzhala, editor-in-chief of the
Kosovar daily newspaper Express.
This debate follows the previous discussion on the new Serbian constitution and its impact on Kosovo's final status.
