Terdevci began her career in 1997 as reporter for Albanian National Radio Television, where she worked until 1998.
Between
2001 -2008 Terdevci was an investigative journalist on the
Albanian-language “Koha ditore” daily newspaper published in Pristina,
covering issues related to corruption, smuggling and other crimes.
In
2001 Terdevci published a story on pipeline fuel smuggling from
Montenegro to Kosovo. The story had an immediate impact, and the
pipeline was dismantled a week later. She also published numerous
articles on smuggling of cigarettes and other goods from Montenegro and
Serbia and the involvement of Customs officials and local and
international police in such misconduct.
Terdevci was named best female print journalist in 2006 by Top Radio in Gjakova.
In
2006 she was appointed current affairs editor of “Koha ditore” daily
newspaper. While working for “Koha ditore”, Terdevci was also engaged
as a correspondent for “Transitions Online” writing analyses and
in-depth articles on political, social and minority issues in Kosovo.
Terdevci joined BIRN in March 2008 as the manager of a project on Monitoring Public Services.
She studied journalism at Tirana University, Albania, from 1993 to1997.

At the beginning of 2010 BIRN network published Digging Deeper - A Guide for Investigative Journalists in the Balkans, written in cooperation with Sheila Coronel, Director of the Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism and professor of professional practice at Columbia University, New York.
