Nidzara works as journalist in Sarajevo since 1994. Since 2000, she has been working for IWPR and later on for BIRN.
She was involved in the production of a number of ground-breaking investigations and insightful analyses. From 2006 she joined BIRN BiH's Justice Report team as an editor and since January 2010 she is editor for regional transitional justice program.
She frequently appears as an anylist in local media, but also Al Jazeera, BBC, Radio Free Europe...
She holds an MA in Human Rights from Center for Interdisciplinary Studies Sarajevo and Bologna (2002) with thesis about political propaganda and hate speech in brodcast media during wars in Bosnia, Croatia and Serbia.
In 2000, she was awarded with Ron Brown Fellowship, US State Department award supporting young professionals from Central and Eastern Europe and she spend one year as a media fellow with DeWalice Media Center at Duke University, North Carolina, US.
In 2006 she was received a Special mention by Association Premio Claudio Accardi, Italy in recognition for the story The Last Taboo about male rape in camps in BiH during the war.

At the beginning of 2010 BIRN network published Digging Deeper - A Guide for Investigative Journalists in the Balkans, written in cooperation with Sheila Coronel, Director of the Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism and professor of professional practice at Columbia University, New York.
