Since 1999, Muhamet Hajrullahu has worked for a number of Kosovo media,
including Kohavision, the national TV station, where he was a
journalist and editor.
He was one of six participants in an IWPR-organised, three-month journalism training programme in 2004. In 2005, he graduated at the Faik Konica journalism faculty in Pristina.
Hajrullahu was trained in a number of different specialisms such as business and economic reporting and reporting on minority issues. He also took part in Training for Editors at ITV Yorkshire and BBC North in Leeds, UK.
Hajrullahu has been a regular contributor to IWPR and BIRN since 2004. In 2007, he joined the BIRN Kosovo production team, where he works as a journalist for the Life in Kosovo current affairs TV programme.

At the beginning of 2010 BIRN network published Digging Deeper - A Guide for Investigative Journalists in the Balkans, written in cooperation with Sheila Coronel, Director of the Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism and professor of professional practice at Columbia University, New York.
