Dusica has just recently joined the BIRN hub. She has worked with several leading EU and UN institutions and donor groups, in administration, programmes and PR, starting with the UNHCR as Programme and Field Assistant. Later she moved to ECHO, the EC's Humanitarian Aid Office, where she stayed for several years, working in Tuzla from 1996 to 2000 and in Skopje from 2000 to 2003. Dusica also worked as a television reporter in 1992-1993, but later moved to radio to run talk shows. She finds this a good way to share her concerns about society and ways of life with the world.
At the beginning of 2010 BIRN network published Digging Deeper - A Guide for Investigative Journalists in the Balkans, written in cooperation with Sheila Coronel, Director of the Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism and professor of professional practice at Columbia University, New York.
